HOW CASTLE HELPED NOVO HOLDINGS TRANSFORM A FIRST-TIME SUMMIT EVENT INTO A MUST-ATTEND CEO FORUM
Novo Holdings is a global holding and investment company that manages the assets of the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
Castle partnered with Novo Holdings to design and execute a curated, executive-level experience that combined insightful programming, purposeful networking, and premium event production. Through strategic event management, creative branding, and marketing support, Castle helped ensure the Summit was both impactful and memorable, establishing Novo Holdings as a trusted convener in the life sciences sector.

THE SITUATION
CREATING A PREMIER PLATFORM FOR INDUSTRY COLLABORATION
In 2022, Novo Holdings set out to launch its inaugural CEO Life Sciences Summit. The goal was to bring together top C-suite leaders from across the life sciences sector for candid conversations on emerging trends, shared challenges, and future opportunities. As a first-time flagship event, the Summit needed to attract a distinguished executive audience, deliver a seamless, premium experience, and establish Novo Holdings as a trusted convener of industry thought leadership.

OUR APPROACH
EVENT MANAGEMENT, MARKETING, & CREATIVE STRATEGIES THAT ELEVATE ENGAGEMENT
Novo Holdings engaged Castle as its strategic event partner to bring this vision to life. Our role was to conceptualize, plan, and produce a highly curated, two-day program that balanced executive-level content, purposeful networking, and distinctive brand moments—all while reflecting Novo Holdings’ heritage and values.
Hosted at Cape Cod’s iconic Chatham Bars Inn, the Summit was designed as an intimate, high-touch experience. Castle managed every detail—from concept development and venue planning to A/V production, creative branding, guest logistics, and bespoke touches.
With sustainability a key priority for Novo Holdings, Castle minimized the Summit’s environmental impact through a custom event app and responsibly sourced signage and event materials. All elements were intentionally crafted to foster connection, engagement, and insight-sharing.

THE IMPACT
EXPANDING A FIRST-TIME SUMMIT INTO A FLAGSHIP INDUSTRY EVENT
The inaugural Summit welcomed 180 senior leaders, including CEOs and key stakeholders, and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Building on this success, Castle was retained to produce the 2024 Summit, which expanded attendance to 200 executives and solidified the event as a biannual, must-attend industry gathering.
Planning is now underway for the 2026 Summit, which will introduce an additional track at the nearby Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, expanding attendance to nearly 300 executives, and elevating the experience even further.
