How we do business matters.

Our global community faces complex environmental and social challenges—from rising temperatures to economic risks and intersecting social inequalities. We must do all we can to protect and preserve our environment and address these challenges for ourselves—and future generations.

Castle is committed to action.

We ask questions like: How can we foster a greener future through our commitment, operations, and services? What can we do to evolve into a more sustainable company? How can we drive positive change for ourselves—and our clients, partners, and community?

Our first step was to add a sustainability committee to our internal staff-run steering committee. Their mission is to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and to research, share, and implement sustainability practices and strategies within our agency.

Commitments currently include:

  1. Environmental Impact Reduction:

    Implement practices to minimize our environmental footprint, such as reducing energy consumption, promoting recycling and waste reduction, and adopting sustainable procurement policies.

  2. Carbon Emission Reduction:

    Set targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with our operations and implement strategies to achieve those targets, such as utilizing energy-efficient technologies, promoting remote work options, and encouraging sustainable transportation.

  3. Circular Supply Chain:

    Work with suppliers and vendors who adhere to sustainable practices, including sourcing environmentally friendly materials, promoting fair labor practices, and reducing the supply chain’s carbon footprint.

  4. Client Engagement:

    Encourage and support clients with adopting sustainable practices, incorporate sustainability messaging into PR and event campaigns, and promote sustainable products, services, and initiatives through strategic communication.

  5. Sustainable Growth:

    Raise awareness about sustainability issues and best practices among our employees, clients, and stakeholders and provide resources and training to empower individuals to make sustainable choices in their personal and professional lives.

  6. Community Engagement:

    Engage with our local community through partnerships, sponsorships, and volunteering in sustainability-focused initiatives or organizations, promoting environmental education, and contributing to community resilience and well-being.

  7. Transparency:

    Communicate our efforts and progress toward achieving our sustainability goals to clients, employees, and stakeholders.

From small individual changes to significant organizational transformations, we aim to do our part to achieve a greener, healthier, and more equitable future for all. We are proud of our sustainability work and commit to doing it better.
