Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit that matches children facing serious illness and disability with student-athletes from college sports teams across the country, creating long-term, transformative experiences for all involved.

Castle partnered with Team IMPACT to design and execute an end-to-end event experience that engaged attendees, inspired generosity, and reinforced the organization’s mission. Through meticulous planning, creative event design, and seamless on-site execution, Castle ensures each Game Day Gala leaves a lasting impression on patients, families, student-athletes, and supporters alike.

The Game Day Gala is held annually in Boston, Massachusetts, drawing more than 1,000 attendees each year.

THE SITUATION

CREATING MEMORABLE CONNECTIONS TO INSPIRE GIVING AT ANNUAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS

The annual Game Day Gala is the organization’s flagship event, bringing together 1,000+ members of the Team IMPACT community—including board and committee representatives, patients and families, student-athletes, and coaches—to celebrate its national presence, over 3,300 matches, and more than 100,000 student-athletes impacted. Castle was engaged to ensure the gala delivered a seamless, memorable experience while maximizing engagement and fundraising success.

OUR APPROACH

EVENT MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES THAT ELEVATE ENGAGEMENT & TRANSFORM EXPERIENCE

Castle provided event design, branding, and production support for the 2024 and 2025 galas and has been enlisted again for 2026. Hosted at Encore Boston Harbor, Castle transformed the space into a tailgate reception, dynamic program and post-game party, translating the concept and design into an immersive, end-to-end experience.

Highlights included a lineup of distinguished speakers, a Fund-A-Need campaign submitted via mobile devices, and engagement strategies that maximized participation from more than 100 sponsors and nearly 1,000 attendees. Every detail contributed to a vibrant, celebratory experience that honored Team IMPACT’s mission and community.

The 2024 and 2025 Game Day Galas raised more than $3 million each, celebrating Team IMPACT’s legacy and inspiring community support. Castle’s partnership ensured that every attendee—from patients and families to student-athletes and coaches—experienced an event that was meaningful, engaging, and tied to Team IMPACT’s mission.

Castle also supported Team IMPACT with its 2025 regional events held in Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles—and is supporting Team IMPACT once again in 2026, helping to make the next Game Day Gala just as successful.
