Connor Burke

I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York, and graduated cum laude from Syracuse University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications with a minor in marketing.

While at Syracuse, I built a start-up sports marketing agency focused on the NCAA expansion of the Name, Image, and Likeness (N.I.L) industry, creating and executing strategic content partnerships for athletes, brands, and everyday fans. I also served as the Syracuse Club Baseball team’s two-time president and enacted our significant social media presence during my four years on the team. Most recently, I held a year-long internship with The Castle Group, collaborating with clients and learning the power of public relations and its impact on the community.

I am passionate about helping diverse clients tell their stories in impactful ways. During my Castle internship, one of my most rewarding experiences was assisting in PR efforts for Embrace Boston as the organization unveiled The Embrace, a memorial dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, on the Boston Common. Working on this project solidified my love for and interest in public relations and marketing. 

I am an avid baseball and football fan (Go Yankees and Saints!) and in my free time, especially enjoy attending sporting events and concerts, spending time with family and friends, and playing intramural sports.
