Well-executed PR is priceless. It’s the ad that money can’t buy. A brand or organization can always talk about itself but third-party validation and exposure occupies a special place in the audiences’ mind.

WHY CASTLE

There is no such thing as status quo here—we’re always experimenting and shaping the future of the work that we do.

Dylan Hackley

My career started in the public higher education system here in Massachusetts, helping raise awareness for life-changing programs for those without the means for a degree from a private university, while also boosting enrollment from Cape Cod to the Berkshires. From there, I took the short ride home to New York where I cut my teeth working with clients such as Dentsu, Publicis, Maker’s Mark, The New York Times and many more. I also worked closely with luxury and athletic start-ups during their go-to-market phases, helping them find their voices.

I spent the past several years working with and in the advertising industry, learning the ins and outs of audience identification, audience building and engagement – all while applying those lessons to my communications work. Most recently, I served as the Director of Marketing Communications for a media agency (the best if you ask me) here in Boston. Along my winding journey, I have won two D&AD Pencils and was awarded a citation from Massachusetts House Speaker Robert DeLeo.

I’m always busy and I love it. I ski, golf, bike, run, restaurant hop and travel whenever I have the chance. Ideally, I do as many of these things as possible with my wife, Jenny, by my side.
