I am a problem solver and strategic thinker who thrives in new challenges and love getting stuff done.
With my decades long experience in leading public relations, crisis and internal communications efforts for several health care and human services organizations in both the private and public sector, I was thrilled to join The Castle Group in November 2021 as its Chief Communications Officer.
Prior to joining team Castle, I was Director of Corporate Communications for Mass General Brigham, Massachusetts’ largest health care system and private employer, where I developed and implemented communication strategies about the system’s COVID response and vaccination efforts, United Against Racism and other strategic efforts.
At the outset of COVID in March of 2020 through June, I was redeployed to start up and lead communication efforts for the state of Massachusetts’ COVID Command Center. Previously I directed and oversaw communications, including media relations and multiple public information campaigns, as Assistant Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services – the largest part of state government, which includes the MassHealth (Medicaid) program, the Department of Public Health, and several other human service agencies serving children and seniors. I also was Communications Director for Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care.
My husband, Pete, and I have two daughters and live in Walpole, Massachusetts. I enjoy sports, reading and walking my beloved dog Belle.
