Having moved from New Jersey to Vienna, Austria at age four, I learned the importance of communication and adaptability from a young age. My parents love to tell the story of the first time I heard someone speaking English and exclaimed, “There’s a cowboy outside and he’s speaking REAL!” I have since picked up a few languages (German and Spanish), but my enthusiasm and curiosity for communication has not waned, as I’ve seen the role it plays in making real change.
I’ve explored communication from a variety of perspectives, having worked as a public image intern at the UN in Vienna, a digital news intern at WBZ-TV here in Boston, and as an English aid with 826 Boston in Dorchester’s Jeremiah E. Burke high school. I am a writer, reader (and talker!) at heart. Some of my favorite authors include Toni Morrison, Jorge Luis Borges, and Yukio Mishima, and I’ll gladly talk your ear off about any of them! At school, I served as Editor-in-Chief of a literary magazine, cast member and manager of a female-run comedy troupe, Emerson Lion’s basketball team walk-on and program assistant to the Greater Boston Area non-profit Youth LEAD. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, teaching myself graphic design, and making way too many playlists. I bring a positive outlook and quick wit to all my endeavors and love the scrappy attitude of Castle co-workers and clients.
I joined The Castle Group in January 2020 as a contracted Events Coordinator, following my graduation from Emerson College. I have learned so much in my time with Castle and have broadened my skill set to include virtual event management. I was thrilled to join the fast-paced and closely-knit environment and am excited to continue my journey with Castle in the Assistant Account Executive role.
