Grilling for the Summer
Well, the dog days of summer are officially here, and for those of us who don’t have the luxury of central A/C, it’s just too hot to go home and turn on the oven to cook dinner.
In an effort to avoid going hungry all summer, I went on a mission to find some great summer recipes that only involve one cooking method: Grilling. And I’m not talking about just hot dogs and hamburgers. I’m talking appetizers, salads, main dishes, sides, and desserts, too!
Appetizers and Salads
Grilled Romaine Salad with Willowtree’s Caesar Dressing
Main Dishes
Grilled Lobster with Cilantro-Chile Butter
Grilled Shrimp and Sausage Skewers with Smoky Paprika Glaze
Grilled Swordfish Steaks with Basil-Caper Butter
Sides
Grilled Asparagus with Caper Vinaigrette
Desserts
S’mores

Now that I have compiled all my recipes, the only thing standing between me and a great summer meal is the fact that I don’t have the slightest idea of how to operate a grill. Anyone have any tips for me?
