Castle was retained by pioneering natural snack manufacturer Stacy’s Pita Chips in 2004 to implement an executive visibility campaign to support the entrepreneurial founders’ goals. Castle focused on building awareness in new retail markets through regional press outreach and sampling, resulting in numerous
local business awards and high-profile media placements.
In 2006, Stacy’s was acquired by PepsiCo. Castle continued to work with Stacy’s for two years post-acquisition on all brand PR. Activities included promoting the company’s national brand launch – an integrated campaign built around a mailing of pita chips to 133,000 people in the U.S. named “Stacy.”
Results: National coverage on “Rachael Ray” and in the New York Times, feature television and print coverage in the Dallas, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Hartford, Detroit and Minneapolis markets.
