“Secure Your Place in the Sun” - Bermuda

To help get sales moving in the last half of the year at one of its top software reseller companies, a world leader in Internet security technology hired The Castle Group to create and execute a high-profile incentive program. For more than six months, eligible sales reps received monthly teasers to promote a three-night trip to the glorious island of Bermuda. Promotions included a 2001 Bermuda Calendar, genuine pink sand from Bermuda’s beaches cleverly captured in a bottle, suntan lotion and specialty Bermudian food and drink items. A fully customized website was created and used both as a promotional tool and for online registration and communication.

Eligible reps also attended a special luncheon sponsored by the software publisher at the resellers national sales meeting. The Bermuda themed event was attended by the organizations very own “Queen of England”—there to entice the future winners of the contest to her majestic island of Bermuda.

On the island, winners and their guests received the royal treatment. From a catamaran sail through the crystal blue waters and swimming with dolphins, to croquet and cocktails and a late night party at King Henry the Eighth’s tavern, guests enjoyed every minute of their Bermuda experience.
