Commuter Rail

From suburbs north and west of Boston, take the commuter rail to North Station. For suburbs south of Boston, take the commuter rail to Back Bay, then the Orange Line subway to North Station. For details, go to www.mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/rail

Bus

From the Downtown Crossing area, take the 92 or 93 bus to the Navy Yard. From Sullivan Square, take the 93 bus to the Navy Yard.

Water Shuttle

Take the water shuttle from Long Wharf (near the New England Aquarium and Marriott Long Wharf) to the Charlestown Navy Yard. Boats run seven days a week and leave from Long Wharf every 10 minutes weekdays.

Walking

The Navy Yard is about a 15-minute walk from North Station. Directions are as follows:

• Exit the commuter rail station
• Turn left and walk about 1-½ blocks to N. Washington Street
• Cross street, turn left and walk over the Charlestown Bridge
• Turn right at Chelsea Street
• Turn right at Warren Street/Joiner Street (Constitution Plaza)
• Go through Gate 1 into the Charlestown Navy Yard
• Go straight ahead onto 1st Avenue
• Go two blocks and turn left onto 7th Avenue
• The Castle Group’s main entrance is located at the intersection of 7th Avenue and the 2nd Avenue in the cobblestone courtyard, second set of doors on your left

Driving

From Logan Airport

• Slight right toward RT-1A S/William F McClellan Hwy (signs for I-93/RT-1A N/Boston/Sumner Tunnel/Revere/1A S/Cargo Area/Hotels/Terminal E/Gas Station/Rental Cars)
• Take the ramp onto RT-1A S/William F McClellan Hwy (Partial toll road)
• Take the exit toward Government Center/I-93 N
• Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Gov't Center
• Keep right at the fork, follow signs for N End/N Station
• Turn left at Cross St
• Continue on Joe Tecce Way/N Washington St/Continue to follow N Washington St
• Go straight through Charlestown and over the bridge. Once over the bridge take your first right, onto Chelsea St.
• Turn right at Chelsea St
• Turn right at 5th St
• Turn left at 1st Ave
• Once on 1 st Ave, you are now in the Navy Yard.
• While on 1st Ave you will come upon Building 39 on your left. Building 39 has an open archway, walk through the archway and the building directly behind Building 39 is Building 38 where The Castle Group is located. Take the elevator up to the second floor.
• Metered parking is located throughout the Navy Yard. Parking garages are also available.

From North Station

• Head northeast on Causeway Street toward Beverly Street
• Turn left at Joe Tecce Way/RT-99 N/N Washington Street
• Continue to follow RT-99 N
• Turn right at Chelsea Street
• Turn right at 5th Street
• Turn left at 1st Avenue
• Turn left at 7th Street

From South Station

• Head northwest on Summer Street toward Atlantic Avenue
• Turn right at Atlantic Avenue
• Turn right to stay on Atlantic Avenue
• Continue on Commercial Street
• Turn right at Joe Tecce Way/RT-99 N/N Washington Street
• Continue to follow RT-99 N
• Turn right at Chelsea Street
• Turn right at 5th Street
• Turn left at 1st Ave
• Turn left at 7th Street

From Points North

• Take US-1 S VIA TOBIN BRIDGE (Portions toll)
• Take the I-93 N exit toward SOMERVILLE / CHARLESTOWN
• Take the exit toward BOSTON
• Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto MA-99 S / NEW RUTHERFORD AVE
• Turn LEFT onto CHELSEA ST
• Turn RIGHT onto 5TH ST
• Turn LEFT onto 1ST AVE
• Turn LEFT onto 7TH ST

From Points South

• Take I-95 N toward BOSTON or Merge onto MA-3 N toward BOSTON / POINTS NORTH
• Merge onto I-93 N / US-1 N via EXIT 12 toward BOSTON
• Take EXIT 23 toward GOV'T CTR
• Take the NORTH END ramp toward CHARLESTOWN
• Turn LEFT onto CROSS ST
• Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto N WASHINGTON ST / JOE TECCE WAY Continue to follow N WASHINGTON ST
• N WASHINGTON ST becomes MA-99 N / NEW RUTHERFORD AVE
• Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CHELSEA ST
• Turn RIGHT onto 5TH ST

From Points West

• Take I-90 E / MASS PIKE / MASSACHUSETTS TURNPIKE toward FRAMINGHAM / BOSTON (Portions toll)
• Take EXIT 24 A-B-C on the LEFT toward I-93 NORTH / CONCORD NH / S. STATION / I-93 SOUTH / QUINCY
• Take the 24C-B exit- EXIT 24C-B- on the LEFT
• Merge onto I-93 N / US-1 N / MA-3 N / THOMAS P. TIP O'NEILL- JR. TUNNEL via EXIT 24B toward CONCORD NH
• Take EXIT 23 toward GOV'T CTR
• Take the NORTH END ramp toward CHARLESTOWN
• Turn LEFT onto CROSS ST

Free parking spaces are located throughout the Navy Yard (no stickers required) as well as metered street parking on a limited basis (quarters only, 2-hour limit). The following parking garages are also available.
