Wendy Spivak, Principal/Founder

As principal and founder of The Castle Group, Wendy Spivak leads The Castle Group’s events division to create substantial returns for clients through superior events management ranging from destination-based sales incentive programs to memorable philanthropic events and everything in between. In addition to the strategic management of the events division, Wendy’s responsibilities include overall agency operations and business development.

Wendy has more than two decades of events management, marketing communications and public relations experience, which form the foundation of her skill at creating goal-oriented, creative and memorable events. Under her direction, the agency develops customized communications strategies, events and collateral programs that reach target markets and audiences across a variety of industries. 

Wendy has designed and directed successful programs ranging from one-day events at Le Cirque to year-long incentive programs that culminate in eight-day trips to Paris. She oversees the activities of such clients as Symantec Corporation, Microsoft, LoJack, Fidelity Ventures, Harvard Medical School, Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center, ISO New England, SoftwareHouse International and The Warren Alpert Foundation.

Prior to co-founding The Castle Group, Wendy was a senior corporate communications executive at two successful entrepreneurial companies, Prism Health Group and the Mediplex Group. At Prism, Wendy was responsible for creating and managing a marketing communications strategy that encompassed a variety of healthcare business lines from start-up to revenues of $150 million. At the Mediplex Group she was responsible for marketing, public relations and events management. Prior to those efforts she managed marketing, communications and events programs at Framingham Union Hospital and Northern Telecomm. She was also an associate producer for WNEV-TV in Boston.

Wendy holds a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a member of Meeting Planners International, the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives, and Boston Women Communicators. She is also a member of the board of Courageous Sailing Center.
